Optical and Structural Properties of Cobalt Nanoparticles Synthesized by Laser Ablation

چکیده

Pulsed laser ablation in liquid (PLAL) technique can produce high purity nanoparticles, it is a top-down physical method based on the principle of dividing metal ion bulk precursors into atoms, this was used work to synthesis cobalt nanoparticals (CoPNs) with use Nd: YAG two wavelengths (355 nm) and (532 at energies (500 mJ) (600 respectively, number pulses (1000,1100, 1200, 1300, 1400) for each wavelength. The properties prepared nanoparticles were studied by UV-Vis, XRD, SEM EDX, AFM, FTIR analysis then its antibacterial activity applying types bacteria gram-positive (Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus mutans) gram-negative (Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa) isolated from oral cavity. findings showed that CoNPs using PLAL approach have could be employed kill hazardous pathogenic bacteria.
